After a few months of downtime, Corsica is back under saddle and is showing just how athletic and versatile he can be. He has an intelligent and willing personality, always putting his best effort into each training session. With a calm demeanor and a soft mouth, Corsica is both responsive and sensitive, making him an ideal partner for riders at all skill levels.

 

Corsica’s athleticism shines as he moves through his paces—he has a steady walk and trot and is beginning to develop a smooth, balanced canter. Last summer, he was lightly introduced to a beginner lesson program, where he proved to be fantastic for novice riders, showing patience and calmness with new riders. His quiet, steady presence makes him ideal for beginners, while his athletic potential makes us hopeful for more advanced work as he progresses.

 

Recently, Corsica has started doing cavalletti work and working over ground poles, which he approaches with confidence. He learns quickly and seems to genuinely enjoy these new challenges. Corsica’s unique combination of athletic ability and calm, beginner-friendly nature makes him a standout, and we’re excited to watch him continue to grow in both skill and confidence.
