"Marla" arrived at CRR on January 6, 2023 after being rescued from slaughter. Race Fund Inc. saved this lovely mare before contacting us to give her place to enjoy the rest of her days. Marla had a poor racing career with 3 starts (0-0-0) for $130 in earnings. Marla needed to gain quite a bit of weight and has been enjoying being a horse with no stressors. We cannot thank those enough on her journey to us. Recently, we lost Marla from a cut into the joint. We feel blessed to have given her a few months of peace and love.
